No network adapter

It is showing as that I have no network adapter when I attempt to connect to the internet on my new optimus V laptop (windows 7). When I look in device manager it lists 'other devices' and has things like network and Ethernet adapters, however they just display question marks on them and you cannot do anything with them. Please help as currently I cannot use the wifi adapter on the PC.

Sounds like you need to reinstall the drivers.

Which wifi card did you get? And have you installed the drivers?

I have attempted but I just get an error message saying that the driver has not been found.

I got the default pick on the Optimus V, and look at the reply I made above

Have you tried Fn + F12 or whatever F key has the wireless symbol to enable.

I am installing the 02_WLAN drivers, all setups that are in that, for windows 7 that was on the driver download page for me.
