Hi have had my computer bought from pc specialist nearly 2 years. I am thinking of adding some memory and a new drive.
I am hoping to get a SSD for a quicker start up thinking of about 256gb any suggestions as the best one to buy?
I am mainly looking for reliability over speed

Intel, Kingston, Samsung......there are plenty but depends on your budget.

I'd endorse the above three suggested brands. All of these can manufacture all the component parts themselves. Some other brands have to buy in certain components and assemble them. History has shown that these drives perform less well.

san disk is a good choice, I picked up a 60 drive for my netbook a few weeks ago. Price was only 45 quid and has been excellent so far.
