Hi, my desktop PC ( Intel Quad PC Q8300 @ 2.5GHz, with 8GB Ram) is beginning to creak when I use Photoshop or Lightroom. I have resisted changing as I thought a quad core processor could handle most operations except for games. I would appreciate if anyone can advise what spec I should go for which would allow me to process images via Photoshop or Lightroom ( Not video editing). My budget is around £600 to £650. Thanks in advance.
