What is your maxmium budget? Anything other than gaming?

2 major things: intel are best avoided these days as their CPUs are poor. And a 14900k is going to cook itself in that case with that cooler. The 3050 is a poor choice of GPU...it was barely useful when it first released. 6GB VRAM is not enough for a lot of AAA games these days and requirements are only increasing.

More expensive but infinitely better..still made some decisions to reduce the amount spent so if there's budgetary room, that would be great..if not this will do a decent job. And, obviously, if you previous spec was the hard upper limit for the build, then we'd need to reduce the spec (I left off the monitor and M&K so needs to be considered):

Other than maybe occasionally streaming to friends via discord, nothing that really requires much power as such. My budget is around 2k so that looks pretty good. thanks.
