Hey, so I've had this new PC for 5 days now. Starting yesterday, video playback on sites such as youtube would suddenly stop and nothing would fix it except for a full restart of the PC. Here comes the next issue which is the PC doesn't actually shutdown, it goes through all the motions, the screen goes blank and then nothing. The machine itself stays on with fans/lights running and the little flashy light indicating the drive is in use keeps flashing.
When I force shutdown by holding down the power button and start it again, it doesn't inform me there was a problem or it was forced to shutdown like my old PC did. Instead it ignores whatever happened and works like a normal PC should.
The problem with the PC not shutting down only occurs once the playback issue has happened, it doesn't have the issue if I shut it down of my own accord.
The only software I've installed is the usual things, steam, battle.net, twitch, discord, avg and drivers such and gforce experience/sennheiser/razer synapse. Other than a few games, there is nothing else on the PC.
Could this be a driver/software clash/problem? Or something more...
