My proposed PC has now entered the testing stage, hope they give it what for to make sure it functions on arrival.

I am one of those guys where if anything will fail, it will fail on my machine and it will not start or show error message everywhere.
I am no expert and am in awe when looking inside a case let alone do anything inside.

I'll keep you all posted.

Fingers crossed.......

I know how you feel, I sometimes get that feeling myself - but rest assured, if the worst happens PCS tech support are really friendly and great at guiding novices through the insides of their rigs to faultfind.

Also its definitely worth mentioning, most problems WONT require you to go inside of your rig, they'll be software based and are usually even easier to fix!

Looking forward to hear how you get on. Post some pics!

Thanks for this, I think they based unlucky Alf (Fast Show) on me.

Chances are it was in testing prior to the update being issued to your account. Testing / QC usually take around 24 hours.

You should get an email / text message from DPD with a 1 hour slot for delivery, if this falls on your daughter's driving lesson you can arrange the delivery for a different day (unfortunately not a different hour).

Well PC Specialist were as good as their word.

PC arrived today within the one hour time slot given by DPD.

Well boxed.

Packed well within the box which also included packing within the body of the PC to support the graphics card etc. I presume.

Nice Welcome Pack included with all the CDs, Operating System Disk, and excess leads and connectors.

And the best bit, the bit that I was really happy with was the inside....

Just love it.

Anyhow setting up was dead simple and I have just installed Avast antivirus as a precaution since my old PC will remain the main family PC for internet access.

So no issues at the moment.

Overall would I recommend PC Specialist... you bet.
