Sorry that’s not what I meant. What I wanted to say is what is your thoughts about this setup and by experts I meant people who knows more than me

Yes that was perfectly clear, and the post is what we meant in response, there was no confusion, as without that we don’t have enough to advise

I take it you haven’t actually read the link, nothing we can do I’m afraid unless you help us out.

What isn't what you meant?

You need to read the post linked above, and answer the questions, before anyone can offer you any advice.

Alright 😁 sorry again I haven’t seen the link. So i dont have the monitor yet so one of the advises was what kind would you recommend? My budget is not very high but I could spend up to 300 for it. I was looking ant currys and theres this msi 27” that i like and i think its about similar price. I will use the pc mainly for gaming at least now but in the future im not sure, i might do more stuff like video editing and stuff, but for the moment its only for gaming. The main reason I ask all these questions is because im far from expert at these things so I dont want to buy lets say motherboard that will not live up to the age of cpu and etc. So my main question is do you think these components are compatible with each and its not overkill regarding each other or, for example I need stronger cpu for my gpu and stuff like that. Also advice on monitor would be great, thank you and sorry for the confusion 😊

Yes, but what's your max budget for that?

No the pc is how I posted in the first post, 300 is the monitor and do you think what parts i chose for the processor match with each other? Or i need better cpu, gpu etc? Maybe I need more / less ram for this build? And what monitor would be matching to this processor?

Without a max budget, we are unable to assist you.

The build you posted is DOA and based on a dead platform. No one would recommend it.

Why is it DOA? Max budget is 2700£ for processor and monitor. Why the processor is DOA?

It’s been worldwide news since january, it’s affecting your banks, NHS, gaming servers, Intel are broken, they’re melting at the core.

Bit they’re also poor processors anyway, easily outperformed by AMD and for significantly less money. Plus they cant be cooled properly and use about double the power to achieve less performance.

You’d have to be insane to buy Intel, it’s only fanboys who still do

Sorry im not a fan of anything, but why is this still being sold if its bad?
Because Intel haven't recalled them. Partners are contracted to sell unless it's been recalled. And so far regulators haven't stepped in to mandate Intel initiate a recall.

Here's what I suggest for a good gaming platform.

N.B. You'll need the 9800X3D when it becomes available (November 7th).

Regarding the monitor, I'd go with an ultra-wide 1440p like this Samsung G8
