New PC Insurance ?

Looking forward to purchasing a rather expensive machine, would anyone recommend any decent computer insurance from theft in the uk ?Thanks

Is it a laptop or pc? You may already be covered under your house insurance.

The easiest way to protect your desktop from theft - buy a big bulky, heavy case.

Most home insurance policies have an 'items over £1000' declaration section or similar, where you would declare that you want to insure your PC and indicate its value. That's probably the cheapest method.

It is more the fact that if you already have home/contents insurance, it may already be covered, or you just may need to specify it as a particular item for said insurance (which would probably end up a lot cheaper than getting separate insurance).
