Alright I’m a lil confused. My PC came with Windows 10 Pro installed, and I want to remove it and change to Windows 10 Home so I can activate my digital licence. All the videos I’m seeing on YouTube is to wipe your drive but this can take hours to do, is there a quicker way than this??

Have done this now and it's not letting me use my digital licence on my account. It's edging me on to buy Windows again so I'm just going to ignore this

You don’t license it that way, is your user account a Microsoft account that you used on the previous pc?

That's right yeah, it was a digital license so it was automatically activated on that PC

All you have to do is make sure your user account is using a Microsoft account that you tied the license to:

And you’d tied that to a Microsoft account? So you just change your user account to that Microsoft account.

Definitely, I remember it saying that my Licence is digitally signed to my Microsoft account
It'll be fine, I'll just buy a new key if I ever see the watermark

Just checking, you deleted all the current partitions before reinstalling windows?

I did yeah, I used the Reset PC function and selected it to remove everything and reinstall Windows
