Not sure what's going on, but my new pc build by pcspecialist that cost a ton isn't working right.

I get two pcspecialist splash screens, the first one gets stuck for about a minute and just does nothing, then it suddenly does a normal boot.

Has anyone had this issue, or heard about it?

What is the system specs?
I had a similar issue but not as bad, it is all about the boot cycle. I turned a few bits off in the bios and now I boot in half the time it did originally. Although I do not tend to restart or turn the PC off often anyway.

If you know a bit about PC's or willing to try, look through the motherboard manual, look for the SATA sockets and the colours. Now, shut down the PC, open the side case, run your hand on the case to earth yourself and now look at what SATA sockets your drives are plugged into. If they are plugged into the SATA 6GBs Jmicron or Marvell sockets then move them to the 6Gbs Intel sockets. Your optical drive or Mechanical Drive can go in the 3Gbs if you dont have enough, but make sure if you have any SSD's they go in the 6Gbs sockets.

Now, turn your machine on and go into the bios, disable the Jmicron and Marvell controllers and try that.

Turns out I needed to preset the reset button near the RAM on the motherboard. Something to do with PCS windows install i wiped, as I put Ubuntu on, which made the BIOS go weird.

All sorted.
