New Motherboards Question

Hey, I was just wondering if anybody is aware of what the new motherboards will be that Asus ROG are releasing tomorrow? On there website it says:

"We have shown you 3 new Z87 ROG Motherboards, but there is more to come. Mark June 4th in your calenders to find out the latest on everything ASUS Republic of Gamers as our ROG Press Conference kicks off at Computex 2013."

And also I noticed that the Z87 boards have DVI and VGA connections where as the Maximus boards dont... (not a big deal am sure) but I am just wanting to confirm that you can use the HDMI connection to connect to a TV?

Not sure exactly what they will be releasing tomorrow unfortunately.

With regards to the connections, if you have do not wish to get a graphics card you need to ensure that the motherboard has onboard graphics facilities such as DVI/VGA or HDMI as not all motherboards do (especially so with 'gaming grade' motherboards) as they expect you to have a discrete graphics card too. If you do spec a graphics card with your rig, it is the card's outputs you would use to connect to your TV, not the motherboards :)

Ah OK cool makes sense thanks.

I really want a Thunderbolt motherboard because I am told they can boot to desktop in like 6 seconds which is awesome, plus I use external hard drives all the time so would make sense to have that again to get faster transfer speeds but none of the motherboards on here seem to have that technology ... Hopefully if there are new Asus ones tomorrow they may have that option and be available on PCS... ?

As far as I'm aware, thunderbolt on motherboards does not affect the boot times, Windows 8 is meant to boot extremely quickly however, which might be what you meant? Unfortunately unless your external hard drive uses a Thunderbolt connection already you won't be able to use it through a Thunderbolt port.

There are some ASUS motherboards with thunderbolt connectivity, but I don't think they are on PCS yet.
