New Laptop 2 Problems From Start

First the wifi is on when I boot up. Finds available connections then switches off. I troubleshoot in network options and the fix asks me to switch on the wifi. How can I keep this on permanently?

Dxdiag states Intel HD is primary gfx card. I have a 7970M installed. I’ve glanced through the sticiked 7970 at the top of the forum. However I wonder why dxdiag doesn’t display the 7970 as the graphics card and how will games play on the 7970 and not automatically play using the Intel HD?

Without knowing which laptop you are talking about, it is difficult for anyone to give an answer.

My manual gives full instructions - what does yours say.

The laptop will conserve power by using the Intel graphics as default. It will then use the 7970 as required by the program or game being played.

If you right click on the game .EXE file you can select 'preferred graphical processor'. Wireless key press is Fn + F12 (if this does not work look for the F key marked with BT).
