New graphics cards

Hi,

just wondering what the timescales are likely to be to get hold of the new Nvidia graphics cards once they’re released? I’m wanting to order a new system through PCS and I’m currently looking at getting a 2070 super or 2080 super but the advice at the minute seems to be to wait until the new cards are released. I’m wondering however how easy it’ll be to get hold of cards when they get released. I’m new to PC gaming so apologies if this is obvious. I suppose my question is, how quickly will PCS get hold of the cards? Are they likely to sell out pretty quickly meaning you could be waiting months. If so, I think I’d be tempted to order a pc now with the old card and upgrade a year or so down the line.

Thanks

PCS are an NVidia and AMD partner so will get new stocks as soon as they’re released.

Suggestions are the nvidia cards will be announced on September 1st being released shortly after.

Hi, I'm in a very similar situation and I've been looking everywhere for information on prices/specs and the ability to possibly pre order a new card but everything seems to be very secret at the moment. What I plan to do is wait till 01/09/2020 and see what information is released then make my decision to either wait for a new card or buy high end older card.

Please message me if you have any suggestions or if you find any more information. I dont mean to hijack your post but also didn't want to post a new one if there was a post up already.
