Main hesitation was getting a bigger case so I could have a 360mm CPU cooler

What's it for and what's your max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

The above wouldn't be recommended, Intel are really poor processors nowadays vastly outperformed by AMD for the same money.

Hey Spyder thanks for the quick reply. Must admit I'm way behind on the AMD vs Intel benchmarks these days. I'd say my budget is around the £3k mark, not including a new monitor which I'll need to buy (not going to make the mistake of keeping a 1080p monitor for such a powerful machine). I'd say I'd like it to power a 4k 240hz monitor, most likely 28".given desk space... would happilly take your recommendation on one
