Hey, just looking to upgrade my gaming PC as it's seriously out of date right now. I was looking to spend around £1200, what do you guys think of this spec? In regards to the RTX2060 i'll be waiting until they have the RTX2060 Super listed.

If you're waiting for the Super GPUs, you should review your spec again when AMD's Zen 2 CPUs launch on 7th July.

I can't help but feel that i5s will be dead as a dodo. Again.

As for the motherboard choice, i don't know much about motherboards, will the one I've chosen be fine for the new AMD processors?

Motherboards for AMD and Intel CPUs are different. Those are LGA1151, while AMD's are AM4.

Most of AMD's current motherboards will support the new CPUs. But there are also new motherboards coming out. Also, which of the current motherboards is most suitable for the new CPUs isn't known yet (e.g. if VRMs are an issue - though you wouldn't think they would be for an R5 3600x).

I'd suggest waiting until the products are out, PCS's pricing is known, and the reviews are up (which should all happen on 7th July) and then reviewing the spec in the round :)
