The above is a good suggestion. You can add an SSD in the future any time you like. Storage speed has no effect on FPS.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Is there any chance you could give a bit more info. I'm not the most computer savvy person and was just wondering the pros/cons of the spec I came up with and the one you are suggesting.

The GPU is vastly more powerful

The CPU is also a lot faster. This will help in some games, and will help avoid the CPU limiting the GPU's performance as and when you upgrade your GPU in future years.

The CPU is overclocked by PC Specialist, which means it's fed more power than its default in order to make it run faster.

An SSD like the 850 Evo in your original spec gives faster loading times for Windows and any programs/games installed on it but doesn't actually improve FPS (frames per second, i.e. game performance). You can add an SSD yourself in the future as an upgrade if you want. It's a pretty easy and popular DIY upgrade, many SSDs are sold with upgrade kits (the 4 requisite screws, sata cable, software for migrating Windows, etc).

The monitor is higher resolution which means a sharper and more detailed image. It's more demanding to run games at higher resolutions, hence the more powerful GPU (although I think it's fair to say that the 1080 is proportionately more powerful at 1440p resolution than the 1060 is at 1080p).

8gb RAM is ok for gaming. The difference between 8gb and 16gb for gaming is actually quite slim:

Adding RAM in the future is one of the easiest DIY upgrades to perform and generally involves buying more of the same and plugging it in.

The faster RAM may have substantial performance benefits in some games:

The case is cheaper, but is a good case and seem to have good cooling performance.
The Noctua cooler is a lot more effective than the H55.
