Sorry SlimCini yep will be gaming rig but will also be using it for photo and video editing

I'm a massive flight simmer and Arma fan so will be getting the most out of them with this PC

Some odd choices there then. If editing was your reason behind that uber powerful and expensive CPU (which is entirely not needed for gaming) then why only 8Gb RAM? The amount of editing involved to justify that CPU must surely be something that would also justify at least 16Gb RAM, no?

And if gaming is the primary role, then why 2 x 970s and a 5960x? it would only be £40 more to have a 5940k and 2 x 980s which would be far better for gaming (although, again, totally unnecesaary or anything other than a 4k screen really)? And £100 less for a 5820k and 2 x 980s!

Just an odd choice of CPU, RAM and GPU combo.

To be honest SlimCini, I had the money to spend on a future proof'd machine and I can always upgrade graphics card and memory later on, I was given the budget and read up on the 980 v 970 GPUs, and many of the articles said that if you can get 2 970s it will be a little bit better than the 1 980. I'm not fussed about the problems with the card where only 3.5Gb's are actually available at a time which will be hopefully sorted in the near future, but with 2 GPUs and the other components in the rig, it shouldn't make much difference with games and applications I will be using.
