New Build - Advancements

Evening all, around the start of November, with the help of people on this forum, I came up with a build for my new PC. I'm trying to fine-tune it and also have made some adjustments. My PC will mostly be used for FSX, BF4 and other shooters/open-worlds.

1.I found out that Intel boost doesn't work with FSX so will have to do a static overclock myself. Due to this, I have upgraded cooler to a H100i and have upgraded the motherboard to an Asus Z97-A
2. I have upgraded the PSU from 650W to 750W

Feedback on this build would be much appreciated. I would also like to know what case people recommend I go for. (Budget about £100 tops for case)

GTX 980 is out of my budget, it's coming in at £1381 even with those changes made. £1250 is my top budget. Would you recommend to make the changes and stick with a 970?

I would, Z97-A is SLI compatible - so if you aren't going to add a 2nd gpu you're paying for a feature you won't use. 750w is OTT for a single GPU as well.
If you did decide to go down SLI route I think you'd need to upgrade PSU.

Yeah that makes sense. Would the gigabyte still be as good for overclocking? For example, which board has an easier bios to navigate.
