new budget - 1.6k. advice on new?

I decided to wait until I have a bigger budget and upgrade to a 1440p 144hz monitor (still looking for one). I just want to know if this would all work together. On PC part picker it says the motherboard might have a bios that won't work with the processor. Not being the most clued up on this, I have no idea what this means. Will this be an issue? And I think the cooler is a bit overkill for my processor but I much rather the look of it to an air cooler. Sorry to bring this old thread back

1080p 60Hz is not demanding by modern standards, so the 3060 Ti is a huge bit of overkill. We can do much better for you if we go down to a 2060 instead. It should be absolutely fine for your use. (Indeed, it may still be overkill, depending on what games you play!)

I'd then spend the savings on some of the fundamentals to make the overall performance better:

thank you! i wanted to stick with the graphics card in case of future upgrades to my monitors but I don't really know what I'm on about tbf. for the games I play: I intend on playing the new COD, BF and Overwatch 2. What average FPS would I get with this build on newer games similar to what I want to play

With the 2060 you'd be getting way over the max framerate the monitors can manage. Battlefield you're looking at around 85FPS, Overwatch well over 100FPS, COD Black Ops probably the same.

There's no point going higher, as your monitor can't display it.

Equally, there's not much point spending money on graphics cards before upgrading the monitor. Upgrade the two together, then you get the best value for money.

No worries. There are plenty of videos online offering benchmarks of games under various setups. Just try googling "overwatch 2060" and there will be loads to look at, so you can tell what performance you're likely to get.

I've posted on this before and got some feedback on my build. I just wanted to doublecheck everything works together. My budget is 1.3k-1.4k. I have a duel monitor setup, just wanted to check this build will support that(?). I want a pc to run games on higher graphics on 1080p 60hz which I know isn't too high end but oh well.

As for games I want to play: COD Warzone and Vanguard, along with the new Battlefield. I also wanna be able to run Cyberpunk, would love to try it out but my current pc can't run it :/ I also play Overwatch : D

Ok having read the history above I've just made a couple of alterations, given you a better PSU that will give a bit more headroom for future upgrades, removed bullguard, and upped the warranty to silver.

When you can afford it I'd recommend changing that M.2 to something like a 500GB Samsunhg 980 or firecuda 530, and then using the 1TB 670p purely as your games drive, after that the next natural progression would be upgrade GPU and monitor to a 1440p setup

Thank you, apart from the PSU would everything else be compatible with my two monitors and run games I want to play well? I have very limited knowledge on all this stuff : D and to save a little bit of money could I keep the PSU I had in before? I don't want to go too much above 1.35k really : /

Thank you, seems good to me. Do you have any monitor recommendations and what about the bios? Do I need to worry about that? This should be my last iteration so I won't be a bother after this one :D

The BIOS will be the correct version. PCS will make sure it works before they ship it!
