Questions

1. Is a 1TB SSD overkill even if my total of games on Steam add up to more than 471GB (other platforms will push it to over 500GB most likely) or should I keep it and reduce the HDD space (maybe from 3TB to 1TB?)?
2. Is the CPU cooler a bit over the top for a 2600x or is it fine?
3. Which graphics card would be suitable to buy with this build, or is it worth waiting for new cards, such as NVIDIA's cards coming this summer or future Vega cards from AMD?

Thanks a lot for your help!

We love you Ukraine
There's not much point planning a build so far in advance as all the hardware will be different / better by then and prices will be different.

It's fun experimenting with the configurator in advance of buying, I'm sure we all did that. SpyderTracks is right though, it's way too soon for anyone on here to offer meaningful advice because everything will likely have changed by December. :)

To answer your questions...

1. Is a 1TB SSD overkill even if my total of games on Steam add up to more than 471GB (other platforms will push it to over 500GB most likely) or should I keep it and reduce the HDD space (maybe from 3TB to 1TB?)?
If you can afford the 1TB SSD and the 3TB HDD then stick with that config, you can always partition the SSD later and give yourself a blistering fast data drive as well. If the 1TB SSD is pushing the budget somewhat then a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD and a 3TB HDD (or bigger) generally offers the best balance between price and performance.

2. Is the CPU cooler a bit over the top for a 2600x or is it fine?
I'd have thought it's a bit overkill personally, a decent air cooler will be fine I'd have thought.

3. Which graphics card would be suitable to buy with this build, or is it worth waiting for new cards, such as NVIDIA's cards coming this summer or future Vega cards from AMD?
I'll leave it to others more knowledgeable than I on these things to comment. Chances are that by December there will be something new on the near horizon...

Thanks! Yeah, I mostly experiment with the configuration and share them just to get better ideas of certain components :p
