Morning Folks,
It would appear that I've caught the "tinker" bug again that all PCS forum members come down with occasionally....
I initially had a Vortex II laptop which had the Killer Networking Card installed in it. When I received my new machine with the Intel Ultimate Card inside I reconditioned the old one and gave it to my parents to play Solitaire and browse for Coach Holidays
Not really sure if I want to do it as I am more than happy with the current card, but thought I would throw this question out to try and satisfy my curiosity...
Is it possible (without having to rip out half the innards) to swap the two cards?
Drivers etc I don't believe would be a problem as the Killer card is an option on the Elite in Config so obviously is compatible.
Like I said earlier, I doubt I will do it, but has anybody changed a Network Card in a laptop and if so.....how did it go?
Cheers,
Torgan.
