Netac G930E SSD Red LED

Hi All,

I recently purchased a PC from PCSpecialist and chose the "512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD" as my boot drive. I've now noticed a red LED flashing on the SSD. From googling the model, it shows as a Netac G930E.

I suspect it is just an activity light, but why would any self respecting board designer make the activity light an ominous red one?! If anyone could shed some light on this or report if their PCS/Netac drive has the same red blinking light, that would be amazing.

Thanks in advance!

Is it the SSD or the motherboard that's flashing?

Normally the SSD is covered by a heatsink plate so you shouldn't be able to see any light...but I guess that depends on the motherboard too?

Can you provide your full specs from your order page, so we can see what we're dealing with.

It was the SSD, its right on the edge so bleeds through the edge of the heatsink. I trust in SpyderTracks though so I'll take the answer haha. Thank you though!
