Need some advice

Hello,
Looking at buying a gaming PC after Christmas, the last one I got here was built in 2011 so it's been some time!
Budget: £2,000 (Can stretch to £3,000 if its worth it)
Use: Gaming (ultra settings), want some future proofing and capability to upgrade GPUs/RAM in the future
I have a screen already (ROG Strix XG32VQ) and want to make the best of it.

I've lightly researched the CPU/GPU/RAM but I'm a bit lost on the "Motherboard / Power Supply / Cooling".
Thanks for the advice.

That’s a nice monitor! And you’ve picked the GPU to suit it if you’re looking for top end settings. I’ve optimised the system for you, it’s brought the cost up a bit but it’s now a bit more well rounded. I’ve also removed the OC from the CPU, the Ryzen chips have a built in frequency boost which means overclocking isn’t actually required.

Thanks for the build!
Couple of questions:
- I'm guessing you've added two M.2 SSD's as one is for OS and the other for Games?
- I've never used a liquid cooler, does the H115i need maintenance like changing the coolant? (I searched online and couldn't find anything)

Yep, first M.2 for the boot drive, second for fast storage.

The H115i is a closed loop liquid cooler, requires no maintenance at all (except for a quick dust out once or twice a year... four times if you’re a bit of an obsessive like me 😆)
