So I should wait? my thought process was to get high end parts now so I don’t have to deal with the upgrading earlier….bit of a lost soul when it comes to upgrading and installing parts

PCS only sell full systems which come fully built, you can’t buy individual components. The CPU (9800x3d) is on back order until end of April but worth hanging on for.

You can’t order a system without a cpu

When a system is well designed, the only upgrade that is required is the GPU, which is usually done every 3-4 years as needed, and there is no need to be concerned because it's really a very easy upgrade. (y)

Sorry, I just saw that you were asking for a white build...

This is little more expensive (especially with the 9800X3D, which costs £100 more), but it will be visually stunning, in my opinion. :)

It's better if you stick to one thread so people can see what has been advised before, else you will probably end up getting repeat advice.

As to the build, far as I can tell, you have sacrificed a dedicated game drive and future upgradeability (by downgrading the PSU to the absolute bare minimum) for some fans and cables and a bigger cooler. Fans and colour co-ordinated cables are fine if they aren't gotten by sacrificing the base build.
thanks for the advice!

I did originally choose the 1000W one but they said it’s a little overkill….and that’s this build would use less that 750W

Also I didn’t add another SSD drive just because I cycle throught the fans games if I’m honest ,and didn’t think I’d need to too much, happy to add another one tho!

Who told you about it? According to the Corsair website, the RMe Series 750W is an old ATX2 standard, therefore it is simply insufficient for that build due to the lack of transient spike protection, and even if it were an ATX3, there would be no room for future upgrades. I would not go lower than RMx 1000W.

When you proceed with the configurations on the website it tells you you what’s compatible and what’s not compatible and what you should change to save money ,the website told me that 1000W is overkill but it’s fine to have ,told me to just go down to save money ,happy with keeping it tho

The configurator is only taking into account your current requirements, which is not what you're designing the PC to, you're desigining it to accomodate updates 10 years down the line.

It also doesn't account for transient spikes. That warning is more for very basic office PC's, it's not relevant for this level of build.

@Nursemorph correctly pointed out that your main/game drive is missing. Unless you already have a spare M.2 available, I would recommend adding the 2TB CORSAIR CORE XT MP600. You'd also wait for the 9800X3D if your budget allowed it.

Basically the pc that was designed in the other thread was far more appropriate

okay great il stick with the other build then..curios to understand why changing the cooler would be an issue tho? Also I guess il just wait till the 9800X3D is back out if it will make a big difference

You can up the cooler to a 360, no problem, that's overshooting. With your build you'd compromised various areas.

9800X3D is quite a significant step up in both performance and efficiency.
