Need Help With Motherboard options and cooling for gaming PC

I'd like some suggestions with what the better options for the motherboard, and sufficient CPU cooling options would be for this build please.
This will be a purely gaming PC

I have currently a 2560 x 1440 monitor also.

Ryzen's X3D chips are gaming CPUs that outperform non-X3D chips.
I don't see the reason to choose a different CPU on your pure gaming system.

Can I ask about the power supply you chose? I've never considered one that high before. Is this just a very big safety net or will this make the whole system run smoother?
I've never built my own PC, this is my first (always prebuilt) so apologies for the newbie questions.

The minimum I'd suggest for a build of that level is a 1000W ATX3, which allows a decent margin for inevitable future upgrades; however, given your budget, I'd go with the 1200W to have an almost unlimited margin if you will upgrade to a top-tier GPU (i.e. xx90) in the future.
