How much is this system. If it's anywhere near £800 then I'm sure a mod (or other learned person) will be here shortly with a much better gaming rig for around that price.

I think I've decided on my final build (£829) and will probably be posting it in a new thread on Friday, for some last minute approval (hopefully!). I just need to do a final bit of research

Define pro build?
If you want the best of the best components for gaming then you're having a laugh if you can buy it for 800. GTX 580 card costs 400 quid alone. Even by building it yourself it would cost £1000+

While both builds will be far better than the awful tesco PC this one has a better motherboard which is more suited to running two GPU's as well as having a HD6870 instead of a HD6850 which will not only provide more FPS now but will provide more performance when a second card is crossfired. I changed the power supply to the TX750 because while a TX650 will be just about ok for two HD6870's there may be issues if any other devices are added.
