Ordering
Ordering was a breeze as always with PCspecialists, the website is well designed and gives good information for novices. The forums were also fantastic, I hadn't bought a new computer is 4 years and was slightly out of date when it comes to the current CPUs and GPU. With the forums I was able to refine my choice and get good information and pointers from other users with more knowledge than myself.
Build
I had fast tracked and all my components were in stock so this was not a problem, unfortunately the order was not dispatched till the 4th day but because of this £20 was refunded to my card.
Delivery
I was glad to find out that DPD would be delivering my parcel as I had had good experiences with them before. There was only one problem as shown below.

01 Dec 2011 03:57 Hub 1 - Birmingham Your parcel has been received at our sortation hub
30 Nov 2011 21:46 Hub 3 - Birmingham Your parcel has been received at our sortation hub
30 Nov 2011 16:12 Leeds Your parcel has been collected from the sender
Their tracking page did take a while to update and on Friday morning it was still saying the package was in Birmingham and then 30 mins later it was out for delivery. I cant particularly complain, I was at work anyway with someone at home to sign, its just the fact I had expected then not to be receiving it till Monday. It just seemed to jump from their "At Sortation facility" to "Out for Delivery".
Unpacking
Computer came well packaged and with everything I ordered. I did have a mini panic attack when i removed the protective packaging inside the case. The bracket for the CPU heat sink had been slightly bent meaning the fan was lying beside the GPU. After a bit of fiddling managed to get it back in place and it felt sturdy. The power lead for my SSD had come loose aswell as the front USB connecting cable and the back chassis fan. I made a quick check that everything was firmly in place. Was very impressed with the cable management and look of the components inside the case.
Switiching on/ Performance
No explosions on the switchon. With the SSD as my primary hd, setup was lightening fast. Very silent and cool. With the thermal radar on the MB was able to see all the temps and fan speeds. Very impressed with the CPU cooler, during general browsing it is sitting around 25 degrees with no significant heat coming from the case.
Really blown away with the speed of the SSD it removes that feeling of dread when you know you need a reboot.
Windows experience was giving me a 7.5 and this was only due to the i5 processor, everything else was at 7.9 so significantly happy.
