Excellent laptop. The only thing I don't like is the rubbery texture of it as dust and any bits just get stuck and are annoying to get off, I hate dust anyway lol
Very fast and smooth. I've been playing WoW, Aion, The Sims 3 and I also use a 3d chat world called Second Life which all require a high use of the graphics card. Fans aren't that noisy at all, I actually never really notice them going when I'm playing something. I'm used to using a mouse so the touchpad is weird to use now, but it seems like it does work well when I've tried it out.
Love the LED screen and the graphics card is absolutely amazing, compared to the integrated graphics in my old laptop which couldn't even play any games ie. I have The Sim 3 and the expansions and stuff packs and once I'd downloaded everything it was just completely unplayable and had to have it on low settings. On the Vortex it's brilliant, it does lag though, which is probably just the game being buggy as it has no reason to lag really. It can handle the online games which don't lag and have better graphics so I don't see why The Sims is such a pain!
