My pc keeps restarting and won't launch

Hi all,

I am unable to use my computer as whenever I launch it it shows the pc specialist logo with spinning dots, after which it turns to the "undoing changes made to your computer" screen. I do not know what to do with it so could someone please help me? I'm also unable to launch the Safe Mode and all i can really access is the BIOS Settings

What triggered this, was there an update, or any bios changes, any software installed?

Did you load a restore point? If so why?

I had this happen a few months ago, appears some form of update (only one I did around that time was Steam) corrupted my OS.

Unfortunately I had to completely reinstall the OS via a fresh install. Other than the time it took wasn't a massive issue for me as I have all personal files needed saved to One Drive.

Depending on your situation you could attempt a clean install but don't do this if you have files that you need on the OS that aren't backed up in some way as it will wipe everything from your system.

Hopefully some others may be able to give you some non-nuclear options before you get to the above stage.

Trouble is if safe mode isn't available, then a fresh install is really the only option to get windows running again.

Could try a startup repair from a windows boot image firstly:

Download Windows 10

Load to USB then boot from the USB into startup repair.
