Also a special Thank You to Jack Turner from the live support chat, hes helped me so much with alot of questions I needed answers to :)

Just a question. I've launched Crysis, there seems to be a noise when I go through the menus, is this normal? Its a whiney noise, its not that loud but its noticable when my speakers are turned off. I don't think its anything serious, think its coming from the PSU? I don't notice when I'm playing because of the speakers. Anyone else had something similar like this?

yep rep for pics :D as promised

If in eventuality it is the PSU, then it is probably the fan and if it does turn out to be a real problem then good luck to you getting it sorted asap

I RMA'd the PC for a new PSU.

Unfortunately the problem with the capacitor whine is the same, exactly as before.

I phoned the call centre, the guy said the PSU whine was fixed. Now its the video card apparently and its normal, all Nvidia cards make this sound he said. I can even hear it when I move the mouse, what do you guys think?

Godlike
I get a slight high pitch noise when I am folding and that is my GTX580 maxed out. But other than that I dont have any high pitch noise when playing games or anything.

I can't say with Crysis 2 as I dont have it, but Supcom2, Civ V and other games Maxed out don't have a issue with or noise.

No noises from my GTX470. Only fan noise when it's under load. Never any high pitched noises.

nice rig :D + rep, i got my pc recently as well, and i've got the Nvidia GTX 590, and Crysis 2.. no noise either. Have you consulted other forums or even google lol?

Edit: I googled ya problem, came across that it's quite normal when the GTX 560 Ti is underload, and as long as it isnt troubling you, nothing to worry about :) I think it also depends on the game
