My Optimus VII 15.6" Laptop

Hello

I recently ordered a Optimus VII 15" Laptop form PCS, with a 6th gen i5 processor. I wanted to know if anyones Laptop has gone through the build stage. I contacted PCS, they said the laptop chassis ETA is 12th October.

Nope still on pre-production 10th working day now. The most recent email I received said estimated build date on Friday 16th of October.

Me neither. The optimus chassis was apparently out of stock and estimated delivery 9-12th October. So if that has remained true and there are no other issues we should hopefully be not too far away now. Fingers crossed!

Does anyone have any update on this? I ordered the Optimus 17.3" on the 29th Sept, now 11 working days in I am in pre production. Just seen that the chassis were expected to be delivered yesterday so really hoping my build date stops getting pushed back now and it actually gets dispatched on the 19th as it's currently telling me. Wouldn't be so anxious except I'm due to got to sea on a 6 month contract end of Oct/start of Nov and the idea of no laptop kills me!

Any updates on the Chassis? I emailed them and they said that they are still waiting on the laptop chassis. It would be great if they show the stock on what components they have.

Mine has gone through preproduction but they are still waiting on the chassis, how about you?

Mine's still at pre-production, 12th working day now, ridiculous. What was the point of making you wait for the launch day to order if they didn't even have it in stock.

Just a note to people, I had originally ordered the Killer 1525 card with my Optimus VII, but it's been superseded by the 1535, so I switched mine at no cost.

Still on pre-production also (17" version).

11th working and still stuck on pre-production. I also didn't receive one of the two day status update emails as expected this morning. I understand it can take up to 30 days. however the estimate was 7 - 9 days for me and it's a shame that we all have absolutely no idea when we might receieve it! I'm not too optimistic for anytime soon at the moment.

they have a HUGE back log on these chassis, especially the 17.3". i ordered mine on 08/09/2015, im now on the 25th working day, so i think a lot of patience is needed now.

Yes I think they are busy with too many orders, they sent a automated email saying my build date would be 26th october and that's for the 15.6 Optimus VII model. I only wish that they would let their customers know if they have the chassis and other components are in stock before buying. But hopefully mine will be in the build stage by next week.

I sent them a webmail and they got back to me to confirm the chassis is now in stock and they are working on building all the orders which is good news and hopefully means not long now!

OH MY, and here's me thinking I could trust the average dispatch table, I ordered the 15.6" Optimus VII with the i7 6700HQ, I thought ordering it on the morning of the day the 6th gen were officially be available to order, I would have a good chance of it getting it within 2 weeks, well that's not happening.

Lucky, I ordered the 15.6 Optimus VII on the 27th September and still in pre-production.

wow u very lucky for such a short wait. i have mine on order since 08/09/2015

i just got email "dispatched" , so i should receive my 17" optimus tomorrow

Thanks for telling me!!! So did you buy the 15" or 17" Optimus VII?
