Hi all,

Well I've ordered my new workstation (I like it when my boss gives me money to spend) and it's now in pre-production. Such a painful thing, waiting. I'm just so excited :D Anyway my spec is:

Case
CORSAIR GRAPHITE SERIES™ 600T GAMING CASE

Processor (CPU)
Intel® Xeon® Quad Core E3-1270 (3.4 GHz, 4.80 GT/s)

Motherboard
ASUS® P8P67 WS REVOLUTION: Unmatched Graphics Performance

Memory (RAM)
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (4 x 4GB KIT)

Graphics Card
PNY QUADRO 2000 1GB GDDR5, 192 CUDA CORES, 2 x DP, 1 x DVI-I

1st Hard Disk
500GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD5002AALX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB CACHE (7200rpm)

2nd Hard Disk
2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD2002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)

1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM

Power Supply
CORSAIR 650W TX SERIES (TX650) 80+ ULTRA QUIET PSU

Processor Cooling
COOLIT ECO A.L.C (ADVANCED LIQUID COOLER)

Sound Card
ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

Network Facilities
2 x ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORTS

USB Options
8 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS) AS STANDARD

Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit

Monitor
IIYAMA E2473HDS 24" LED WIDESCREEN, 2 x HDMI/DVI-D HD 1920x1080

So my questions I have a second monitor with D-Sub connection. I understand the PNY Quadro has 1xDVI and 2xDisplay Port connections. Does it come with any adapters, or will I have to buy some?

I was planning on going Display port to one of the IIYAMA's HDMI and DVI to my old monitor's D-Sub.

Is that the best way to go?

You might get adaptors in your welcome pack,at least DVI to VGA I would think.Best give pcs a call before buying yourself,I don't see much of an option to what you plan connection wise unless the IIYAMA has a DVI port.Ah, just noticed new monitor has DVI port,so you could connect that with a straight DVI to DVI cable & your old monitor from DP to VGA(D-SUB) As an option to your own plan.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. I think your probably right with the connections. I imagine it's better to use less adapters if possible. So DVI to DVI and DP to D-SUB it is.
