You missed out the Blu-ray drive, other than that you managed to spec the most expensive component in just about every other department.

I doubt this is a serious post but even if you can afford a rig like that, don't buy it would be my advice.

If your looking for a serious suggestion on a really powerful spec for gaming over multiple screens then stick the 3930k in place of the 3970x and look at a look at replacing the titans with 780's. Also drop all but one of those SSD's, no need for RAID and you probably wont need anything more than the home premium version of windows.

But yeah I get the feeling this isn't a serious post somehow...

LOL, we all spec a machine like that but, it cant be serious. If I had money to burn, I would buy supercars not supercomputers.

Correct me if I am wrong as, I am no expert on hardware but, game developers are yet to make something that will take advantage of that set up. I am also concerned as, with certain cases, you can add a 3rd Titan :D

jaysnet: yes more than £250.00. I am a gamer, who does video editing & uses a portal 2 map editor. etc. all of which need good specs. I have the opportunity to get a great pc now. it will be many years till I next get a new one. my currant pc often crashes in the editor, & I spend more time waiting for it to complete tasks. :( it's a trade off, in that you probably either had a holiday or bought a car, in the last 10 years ? but I have not. I have saved for this instead. although you can't future proof tech. I have had a good try :)

You could quite easily buy a top notch PC and pay for a holiday with the ludicrous budget that the initial build must come to.

What is it... £4k? £5k?

thank you for your comments. it would take quite a few of these, to buy a super car. & the running costs are extremely cheaper, with a pc. as for gaming developers, not taking full advantage of these specs. not yet. but I will not be buying another pc, for years to come. as for 3rd titan. yes you could add a 3rd. but decided against it. by the time it's needed. they will be old spec.

Boozad thank you for your comments. maybe these specs pop up regularly, because people are buying a pc, with these, or similar specs. or they are curious about what others think of a pc like this ?

If your serious about it then you can get much better value by specing different components. You will never future proof a system, even more so such a high end system. Half that budget and save the rest to go towards a similar beast in 2 years would be my advice.

If you want advice then we can give it, but just posting a spec with everything maxed isn't wise and buying it would be stupid IMO.

Slimcini I prefer a pc that will do what I want, for years to come. if your curious about pricing, as I was. as you build, it instantly quotes a total price, with each item you select.

Agree with this, anything you buy now will be out of date in 2 years time, eg. there is a new SSD (either just released or being released soon) with nearly 1tb storage, that will probably be common place a couple of years down the line..
Decrease the budget dramatically (and you can with minimal decrease in performance), get something up to date when you feel you would benefit from something new. My gaming PC cost about £1200 and although I don't play a lot of demanding new games, I have yet to find a game I can't play on ultra settings.

Not likely.

You could buy a PC half the price of that build and get it to do what you want.

Pointless thread.

£5419 that build costs.

You could literally spend about half that (£2750) and have a PC that would work as fast doing the things you want. Then spend another £2750 on a holiday to Maui. Job done.

Anyone, I'm done with posting serious responses to this.

You missed off a soundcard and you don't want Diamond Care on delivery on that PC?

They are both treated the same by the courier. 'Diamond Care' is DPD's name for either there pre-noon/pre-10am delivery options.
