Hello

My new PC arrived yesterday from PC Specialist!

Very fast, I wish I had bought a 240GB SSD drive for £77 extra instead of the 120GB SSD drive.

How much?

Not too sure how I would transfer the data from my current 120GB SSD, to the new one if I get one?
You can check prices in the "upgrade your existing computer" section.
There are several ways to transfer data,but as far as the operating system is concerned it's probably best to do a clean install.

Hi

There is no 1st hard disk option, if I choose the second drive and upgrade to the 240GB Kingston hyperx 3k SDD drive, the price comes to £167.41

If you choose the second drive upgrade option they will just send the SSD out to you,assuming you're going to install it yourself.

If I buy a new SSD drive and fitted it myself? Would it invalidate the warranty?

it wouldn't.
Unlike with most computer companies, we allow you to open your case and install your own components without voiding your warranty on the following conditions:

•if the actions of the person installing the components cause damage to the computer, your warranty will be void;

•if you install components that are not purchased from us and they cause problems with your computer, your warranty will be void;

•if you install components that are not purchased from us we will in no way support you in installing them or with any problems you have relating to the components you have installed.

•we will support you in installing components purchased from us providing you have purchased them through the upgrade service available on your online account.

I'm going to put the following games on the drive

Age of Empires HD Edition due out in April
Planetary Annihilation due out in summer 2013

I'll wait and see how much room these games take up. If I need more space I'll upgrade to the bigger SSD

I store music files, videos and other files on the second hdd (WD Caviar)

Is it possible to have more than one SSD drive inside my computer?

120GB SSD Primary HDD

2TB WD Caviar Secondary HDD

240GB SSD Third HDD

It's possible,but not much point in doing that really,a waste of money in my opinion.
If you want a more capacious SSD,best bet would be to try and sell the original SSD and put towards the cost of the new SSD.

if do you, make sure both the ssd's are connected to the sata 6ports on the motherboard.

The hard drive will be fine connected to sata 3 ports, but not the ssds'

There isn't much point in having two SSD's,you should be fine anyway with the set up you have,OS installed on your 120GB SSD with the apps/games you use most installed on it.You have a 2TB caviar black as your second hard drive,so plenty of space to install anything else you want on that as Stappa mentioned,I can't see you beeing disappointed with the speed you will get with that set up.
