Mouse feels floaty

Hi!

November last year I bought a pc and installed windows 10 pro, on February this year my mouse started to feel floaty, I cannot play any competitive FPS game because my mouse feels weird, kind of delayed.

Two weeks ago I bought a complete new pc and surprise, the problem is still there.

Acceleration is off, no v-sync or something related but it’s giving me a very hard time.

Any ideas?

Hi!

I first had a Logitech G Pro Hero, then tried with a Zowie FK2C and now I have a Superlight.

All have the same issue right now.
So then it's likely a software issue with something that's installed

Could you open control panel, then open programs and features, change the view to list view and post a screenshot?

How do you manage drivers? Do you use a driver optimiser program that finds updates automatically?

I’ve recently re-installed Windows again and there is no program installed, no G Hub for Logitech mouse even. So it’s very strange. I can feel it on the desktop not only games. My DPI on mouse are like doubled, 400 DPI are very very fast but previously it was very low to manage on desktop so that’s why I know there’s a problem ongoing.

Doesn't need to be mouse related, if you can supply the information requested we may be able to help

Nope, it’s electricity related, you can search electricity input lag and you will see lots of people trying to figure out how to fix this, the answer is finding a place where the pc works correctly.
It could be a number of things, that’s why requested the software output as from there we should be able to work out where the issue may lie

I did a search of 'electricity input lag' ... from the few pages I looked the issue doesn't seem legit to me. Perhaps its a knowledge issue on my part but my limited understanding of electronics and electricity precludes this as even a remote possibility. I could (maybe..... with evidence) be persuaded there's an issue related to old wiring or similar, but I struggle to relate that to how the effects can persist after moving past the PSU.

In the absence of any other evidence to the contrary, I'd agree with Spyder above that its a software issue.

Well, it might surprise you if I told you I bought 2 pc’s with the same result.

Last December I got into a CS2 game and the game felt the same as when i first bought my first PC, I could tell only with a pistol moving the screen around and I killed 40 enemies as if they were bots. After 2 days it came back to bad again.

I didn’t change anything software-side.

Not much we can do then if you’re not open to suggestions, all the best with it
