I am looking to get another PC from PCS and I wonder if the Asus H81M motherboard is ok with an Intel i54690K or would another Motherboard be recommended. Can't fault the build quality on my first PCS computer, coming up for 5yrs old and still good

Depends on your budget and what features you require. If the configurator allows you to choose it then it implies there are no compatibility issues.
