Monitor suggestions

I ordered a pc with the new rtx 3080. Im looking for a decent monitor. I want either a 4k 144hz 1ms response time 27-28 inch monitor or a 144hz 1440p with same specs. Im not sure which one would be better for my build.. Im not really that in to the ultra wide screens (they give me the creeps) I dont mind it being wide but it shouldnt be as wide as the circumfrence of the earth e.g.. the g9..As for budget id want to keep it under £800 (just being reasonable here 😅)

I'm a 4K gamer myself and would go with the LG 27GN950,

also i'm looking at getting a new 4K 144hz monitor, the one's i'm looking at, I could also recommend but they may be over your £800 budget which are...

Im in love with that asus Rog swift but the 4k version will cost like £1900. I was guna go for that LG one too was just checking out other options.

Currrntly out of stock at pc world, Ill keep an eye on it. Pc hasnt arrived yet anyways 46 working days pre-production got till march to think about it.
