Monitor recommendations for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020

Hi all,

I'm hoping I can get some recommendations for a sub £250 monitor (curved?) for my son to play Microsoft Flight Sim (for now). He may branch out to other games in the future (TBD).

G5 seems to get good reviews but it's around £300. Would that be a good choice?

The PC is being built using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with a 8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti.

I've got a G5 with a 3060Ti and it works great. I love the monitor

I will say though that MSFS2020 is extremely demanding and it may chug along a little bit at 1440p with a 3060Ti

You may need to dial the settings down to get the most from it but I think the G5 is probably the best investment.

Other than that I would be looking at an ultrawide 1080p, but you won't get the visual benefit that comes with 1440p.
