Currently torn between Benq XL2411T and the AOC G2460PQU both 24" roughly around the same price,i'm getting a pc with a GTX 780.I've heard a lot of good and bad things about both,Benq reviews state poor colours and AOC has quite a high input lag 13 ms compared to the Benq 2 ms input lag.Any users of either can recommend which to go with pls?

Benq every time. If you're buying a 144hz screen you clearly want quick and fluid gameplay which doesn't seem to be the case with the high input lag time of the Aoc.

The Benq colours really aren't poor while gaming, they may be compared to an IPS panel but it's not an IPS you're looking for is it ;) I've had my XL2411T for about a year now and think it was a fantastic purchase. The AOC reviews seem to have nothing but bad things to say.

Thanks for the reply, just 1 more question though.I'm mainly wanting the monitor for gaming but is it good for watching movies etc too?

Its fine for films, etc if you're sat infront of it, not as great if you're at funny angles.

I have 2 of the benqs and really happy with them, if you have a tweak on the settings the colours aren't too bad, obviously not as good as IPS but fine for gaming / movies.
One thing I would say is that if you are watching iTunes movies make sure you get a hdcp dual link dvi cable or an hdmi cable that can carry 120hz. The dvi cable that comes with the monitor isn't hdcp compliant so iTunes hd movies won't show the picture.

Yeah I'd say go for the BenQ as well.

Don't get me wrong IPS screens are amazing, I couldn't be without a matte IPS now for graphics work, but for gaming the TFT panels are still fine and you tend to get the higher response times too. :)

Also once you get used to a matte screen they're brilliant, the pros definitely outweigh the cons in my book.
