Well, they're both aimed at the high-FPS 1080p gaming side of things, so they'll never be the best at content creation (maybe not enough dimming zones, poor SRGB/DCI-P3 coverage, VA vs IPS panel type, etc.).
Gaming monitors tend to prioritise frequency/Hz over colour-critical things...whereas creative monitors tend to have better colour-controls but max out about 100hz.
But that Viewsonic is very expensive for a 1080p monitor...almost hitting 1440p QD-OLED pricing...but it aimed at pro-level eSports gamers.
