Microsoft Office Installation

I've had my PCS computer for 3 months now and find it excellent, but payment for the Office software seems very excessive when I only require Word.

If I buy a copy of Office 2003 Basic off eBay (£20), will this work on my Win7/64 system, and do I need to remove the trial version first, please?

If you dont use the trial version you could just remove it from the Add/Remove programs from the control panel.

If your looking for a free alternative to office i use a program called Open Office.

It does pretty much everything MS Office does, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc for free.

I'm pretty sure Office 2003 is compatible with Win7 64 bit.If you uninstall the trial version I don't thinkyou can get it back as it's installed by PCS and no disk is provided.
I have a full retail version of Microsoft Office Student And Teacher Edition 2003 that is just lying doing nothing,which I'm quite confident will work on your system,but I never give guarantees It contains Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point and Outlook.If you want it just PM me an address,no charge.If you've already ordered it from ebay though not much point.
