Oh, yeah sorry, that would probably be helpful information.

I mostly play games, with some film watching, music and forum/reddit browsing on the side.

I'm looking for something that'll do max settings, at 60frames + in current and future (at least for a few years) games.

Budget is £3000, no VAT as channel islands.

No need to overclock your cpu or an expensive motherboard for your intended use. Are you using a 1920x1080 monitor? Any specific reason for windows professional?

I wasn't intending on overclocking, I heard it shortens the life of the computer due to the extra heat and stress. I'm getting the "Acer 27 inch XB270HU Predator 2k 144Hz G-Sync IPS Monitor" it's 1440 not 1080.

Edit: forgot about windows, no, I've just always used Win 7 professional because it came with the PC I bought previously.
