looking for some feedback on my build.

Hi guys/girls.

New here, but have been recommended by a few friends.

I'm looking for a build capable of running 4-5 VM's at a time. each VM will be primarily web based, and running slot machines/ betting websites at the same time. I was aiming for a <£1000 build, but i'm not sure if what i want can be done for that price? I imagine RAM will be an issue with the VM's.

What are your thoughts on this build so far? I'm willing to spend a bit more if i need to, but top end budget is gonna be £1200.

Any help will be much appreciated.

With the VM is it Windows that will be running? Normally, as suggested, 4GB would be recommended. The system recommended above may be pushing it a little as ideally you would want the H100i RGB platinum on there. It likely won't be pushed too hard though so will most likely be fine.

Is there still much life in slots? I stopped last year as the hassle was just getting too much, offers drying up and casinos closing every week. Hope you have a lot of friends.

Online gambling has boomed since retail hasnt been able to open its doors... and wont for another few weeks yet.
Slot machines are live and well, online gaming grew in the UK about 75% ahead of expected figures 2016-2018 and its getting another boost with Covid.

So the industry is still alive and well.
And P.S, been in the casino industry for over 15 years

No, I work on the side that runs them, and have significant access to data about that.
Like I said, its an industry with a lot of life in it still, and it appears the OP wants to run websites with gaming machines on them, not play them himself.

No, he wants several VM's so he can run several instances at the same time to maximise winnings. It's standard with online gambling.

I probably would for the better connectivity but I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. Running VMs and DTEs is toffee for any GPU.

How many are you talking? 5,10,20?

I ran ten at once with a 1060, then loaded another ten and so on.
