Looking for new printer that can print high quality black text

I'm looking for a printer that can print high quality black text, can any one recommend one for me?

Not sure I can recommend one as they're quite personal things and come in all shapes and sizes these days. But generally speaking, you're looking for one with a high DPI. 2400 x 600 I think is the highest high street quality.

Well, a monochrome high DPI printer should do the trick. They only print B+W though!

If you are after high quality black text then you need a laser printer. End of story really.

You can get a perfectly decent colour laser printer these days for around £100 if you shop around. But just be aware that you won't be able to use it to print photos to glossy paper.
