So I had my laptop connected to my TV and the TV timed out without me noticing, when I turned it back on there was no volume, i'd encountered this before so I did what I did last time and turned the laptop off and on while it was still connected, only this time it turned on and wasn't connected which I thought was odd because it always showed up on both screens, so I took the HDMI out and put it back it, I swapped the HDMI wire for another and even tried it on another TV and monitor and still nothing, it works using a VGA cable but my TV does not have a port for it. Any advise or help?
