Hey guys im considering getting a laptop for things such as Sony Vegas, Photoshop and maybe some 3ds max and i was wondering what would be a good spec for that. I don't have a budget but I don't want to go over £600.

Raptors spec is probably just about as good a spec as you are going to be able to get with £600. However if you could stretch your costs to £700 then you could look at getting the Voyager chassis which supports the i7-2670 CPU and would greatly increase performance in the applications you mentioned, it also has a better screen by default. I would also try to get a 7200rpm HDD.
