Kingston SSD

I see there is now an option for a Kingston UV400 SSD, has anyone any experience of these drives, they are cheaper than the Hyper X but I was wondering if the saving was worth it. Usually Kingston are very good but they did bring out the V300 which wasn't.

It's a value drive, closer to the V300 (presumably post nand-switch?) than the HyperX. A 240gb HyperX seems to outmatch a 480gb UV400 in a number of the benches.

The only reviews I've found are for the 480gb UV400, so I guess that's the size Kingston decided was most likely to compare well for performance vs price in reviews.

Thanks for the info, I thought it may be something like that but was curious.Am happy with the Hyper X anyway, although may try one of the very fast SSDs next time i get a new computer.
