Nothing you'd ever notice. Current net speeds wouldn't arguably trouble lesser cheaper cards with slower speed limits. But least you can brag right?

The main benefit is that during gaming the Killer cards control/limit bandwidth to all other applications such as Windows update and anti-virus programs that are trying to update, therefore not having any negative impact on your game or causing any un-necessary lag.

slightly off topic, but it would be good if say higher end mobo's could have this chip built in. My rig has two gpu's and a soundcard, so I don't anymore pci-e slots, and it would be nice to have the decent network card+soundcard,+dual gpu's.
