I was literally just about to hit the button to purchase 32GB of Corsairs RGB RT 3600Mhz CL16 (it's purdy) when I thought I would just double check the AMD 7000 series future expectations.
I knew that DDR5 was obviously going to be on the cards but I didn't realise that Intel is, likely, the only one to offer DDR4/DDR5 crossover compatability.
Through everything I've read, AMD 7000 chips will be DDR5 only.
So.... if you fancy the 7000 series and wanted to take your RAM with you, I would re-think the strategy
