I decided to go with the asus board so I can sli in the future.
the idea is to add my gtx 780 into the rig once it arrives straight away and fit a h60 2013 cooler onto it.
And then in the future upgrade the i5 to a 5th gen i7
upgrade the 8gb ram to 16gb
and sli the new 800 series gpus in it. - the 850w psu should be enough since two 770s can be sli'd in the build above now.

so what do you guys think?

I would get a 1000w PSU for SLI, wouldn't bother upgrading the RAM, select "I already have a GPU" so integrated is disabled. Wouldn't bother getting a 5th gen i7 either. Also, I'd get the extra 500gb on the HDD for like £10.

yes thinking about it better be safe with a 1000w psu - : selected I already have a gpu now : -I guess integrated means using the processor as a gpu. and is it only £10 extra for 1tb? I will look into that.

Just ordered my new pc! Excited! When building my pc will pcs install 2 gpu power cables for my 780s since I have one at home and one is being bought in the next month? or will I have to call them / email them to ask for it? thanks.

They'll give you all the extra stuff from the PSU.

As A314159 has said PCS will supply all the spare cables etc. that would normally come with the PSU - that said, they obviously won't install them for you. But that's not difficult
